Chris Hughes

Chris Hughes is the President and Co-Founder of Aquia, a cybersecurity consulting firm focused on secure digital transformation. He brings nearly 20 years of IT and cybersecurity experience to his role as well as having served as a Cyber Innovation Fellow at the Cybersecurity Infrastructure and Security Agency. Hughes is a Veteran of the US Air Force. Chris participates in industry working groups, such as the Cloud Security Alliance, OWASP Agentic AI, and others. He is the co-host of the Resilient Cyber Show and Substack and holds a BS in Information Systems, a MS in Cybersecurity, and an MBA.  Hughes is co-author of the book, “Software Transparency: Supply Chain Security in an Era of a Software-Driven Society,” as well as Effective Vulnerability Management, both published by Wiley.
